How much does this cost?
We do not charge you a fee for our services.
How can the service be free?
Just Accountants have commercial arrangements with a panel of approved accountants. We refer clients to our panel and in return they pay us a fee and / or refer clients who may benefit from our group services.
Who is on your panel?
We presently have 2 separate panels.
One for SME businesses consisting mainly of qualified Chartered Accountants, based throughout the country. A significant number of our panel are top 100 firms of accountants in the UK.
Our other panel is mainly for contractors but also consists of Accountants who either specialise in this area or provide accountancy services to both contractors and SME’s. This panel includes some of the most well-known contractor specialist names in the marketplace.
How many accountants are on your panels?
We have over 70 accountancy practices between our two panels. We regularly receive enquiries from new accountants but we will only consider adding accountants to our panel who meet our strict criteria.
What do you mean by a panel of qualified Chartered accountants?
Qualified Chartered Accountant to us means a director(s) or partner(s) within the accountancy practice on our panel who has qualified through ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA. These accountants have achieved a high professional standard, will need to meet regular CPD (continuing professional development) requirements, should have professional indemnity in place and will be monitored / regulated by an external third party. We do check qualifications before adding accountants to our SME approved panel, however director(s) / partner(s) may move or retire and as such we would always recommend in any event that you undertake your own enquires on the accountants / firms qualifications before deciding on whether or not to proceed with them.
How do you decide which accountant is right for me?
In the first instance one of our trained consultants will brief you about our services and will then want to know more about your business and its needs. This will include your location, industry, turnover and exactly what services you are seeking from an accountant.
We hold extensive information about each accountant on our panel so we are able to match you up to an accountant who we believe is a good fit for you and your business.
We normally refer you to one accountant, although are always more than happy to introduce you to more should you wish.
How much information do you need from me in order to match me up to an accountant on your panel?
We require basic information about you, your business and your accountancy needs. However, in order to make a suitable introduction we may ask you additional questions to better understand your business and needs.
We like to provide the accountant we introduce to you with as much information as possible as this should speed up the process of arranging a meeting / understanding your accountancy requirements and providing a tailored solution.
Please note that we only ever pass your details onto our recommended accountant with your consent.
Can you still introduce me to an accountant if I am experiencing cash flow problems?
Yes as often the accountant will be able to assist with current cash flow issues. In addition, our sister company, Touch Financial Support, may be able to assist with business related funding.
Benefit of local accountant Vs remote services?
The benefit of a local accountant is that you are able to meet them face to face and they are available in person should you have any issues.
However, a local accountant may not necessarily be the best solution, a remote based accountant may have more expertise in your sector or in dealing with your specific enquiry. A remote solution can prove more cost effective.
Our consultants can help you weigh up the pros and cons of each service to assist you make a decision on which one is right for you.
How long will it take for me to move from my current accountant?
There is a standard process in place and your new accountant will normally contact your existing accountant requesting professional clearance. Your existing accountant should respond in a reasonable time to allow your newly appointed accountant to take over in a matter of weeks.
Do you deal with companies with a large turnover?
Yes, we currently work with a significant number of the UK’s top 100 accountancy firms and are, therefore, able to recommend introductions to any size of business.
Do you deal with companies with a low turnover?
We would be pleased to assist anyone who requires an accountant or has accountancy related needs. However, in some cases we may not be able to make an introduction if its falls outside of our panel’s criteria.
Do you deal with price driven enquiries?
If your enquiry is totally price driven we will try to assist, although our approved accountancy panel tend to be more service than price driven.
Do accountants on your panel specialise in particular industries?
Yes, we have accountants who specialise in most industries (read more). We cannot list all the specialist areas our accountants cover so if you do not see your specialist area then please give us a call!

Yes, we receive great feedback on the service we provide from our clients and from the accountants on our panel. Please visit our Feefo page and have a read of the feedback we have received from our clients. Testimonials from our accountants can be found (to follow)
